# Accounting: Fixed Assets in the Side Panel

Fixed asset records now open in the app's side panel instead of separate sheets. This covers fixed assets, fixed asset categories, and fixed asset account settings.

Receiving, transferring, and handing over an asset also open in the side panel. Transfer and handover forms start with the asset's current details, and missing or conflicting custodian details show a clear alert before you save.

In category forms, useful life and annual depreciation rate update together for both standard and tax depreciation. Removing a record needs confirmation.
