Automation triggers now expose their full payload as searchable variables, giving every downstream action structured data to work with. Open the Variables panel on any node and pick from the fields the trigger emits. A Facebook Message trigger alone surfaces Message ID, MID, message content, Conversation ID, Customer ID, Bot ID, entry type, button ID, payload execution ID, thread source, and Ad ID. Reference any field with dot notation — trigger.content, trigger.payload.btnId — and pass it straight into AI actions, conditions, or messages. The Trigger Path field decides how much an AI action reads. Point it at a single field for a focused input, or leave it empty to hand over the entire payload. This turns automations from static message chains into data-aware workflows that react to exactly what the customer sent.
