## **Getting Started with Segments**

Segments let you group records by shared conditions. You can build segments for Team members, Companies, Customers, Leads, Products, Tickets, Conversations, Tasks, Projects, Deals, and POS orders.

## **How to Create a Segment**

Click **Create Segment** in the top-right corner.

In the **Create a segment** modal, configure:

-   **Color** — pick a visual label.
-   **Name** — segment title.
-   **Description** — optional note.
-   **Who can see this** — visibility setting.
-   **Conditions** — choose the Type, Property, Condition, and Value.

You can combine conditions with **AND** or **OR** logic, and add condition groups for nested rules.

The **Matching Records** counter updates as you build conditions. Click **Save segment** when done.

Saved segments appear in the list with their name, description, and matching count.

## **Segment Types and Examples**

### Company segments

Filter companies by properties such as primary name.

Filter customers by status, lifecycle, or other fields.
