**Values:**

We need to understand the underlying values that support our goals:

- Family - spouse, children, relatives
- Financial-financial security, money in the bank
- Health - physical health, diet, exercise
- Business - what you do at work
- Spiritual-relationship with a higher being
- Community - where you live
- Social- your friends

**Goals:**

- Know what track you're on and which way you're pointed.
- Anticipate and deal with all potential roadblocks.

Goals must be:

o Specific

o Measurable

o Attainable

o Relevant

o Timely

o Shared

**Action:**

- Commit to and maintain discipline.
- Be mentally and physically sharp.
- Believe in yourself and your plan (Attitude).
- Have the guts to do the uncomfortable things.

_**2.2 Behavior Plan**_

In order to accomplish goals, there needs to be certain behaviors that are performed every day, no matter what.

- Focus on behavior, not results.
- Factor in your financial goals.
- Figure out what the most productive behaviors are that drive new business.
- Commit to a minimum number of prospecting behaviors.
- Develop the plan for your results goal by adding "by doing what" at the end.

**Setting Goals**

Appreciate what can be accomplished daily, in the short term and in the long term.

- Focus on top personal and professional goals.
- Factor in any obstacles.
- Hold yourself accountable.
- Set goals for the next three months, six months, and one year.
- Behavior goals support results goals.
- Examine the strategic-by-products of each big goal.
