**2\. Main purpose and Responsibilities of the Position**

**Position Summary:**

-   Create a company’s vision by communicating the plan with all those involved, execute the business initiatives and sustaining implementation efforts
-   Compare the company's mission statement and goals to its current operations and organizational culture
-   Conduct comprehensive and strategic analysis to help the company strategically plan for the future, design strategies for execution
-   Develop plans for achieving those strategies, and bring those plans to the senior management’s attention. Cultivate strategic plans to align company operations to the company’s mission statement for a more productive environment

**Position duties and responsibilities:**

-   Develop and implement strategy that leads to improvement in market share consistent with the company's mission and core values
-   Use data to analyze market dynamics, trends and competition and implement strategies to meet market demand
-   Assess market development strategy and industry trends as appropriate, leading to the generation of innovative ideas to improve current business plans and achieve desired results
-   Leverage previous strategic and innovation experience to help drive strategic transformation of products and services
-   Critically review work processes to ensure quality; address problems that could impact quality; makes sure project deliverables and services meet all requirements and expectations. Identify strategic risks and help to reduce these risks
-   Demonstrate exceptional financial management and analytical skills while leading the annual business planning process and preparing forecasts
-   Effectively advise the CEO in the development and execution of short- and long-term strategies
-   Establish and influence others team leaders to achieve goals, targets and metrics consistent with strategic and operational objectives
-   Demonstrate excellent formal presentation and interpersonal communication skills that result in understanding of, and commitment to, strategic initiatives
-   Lead senior executive team in advancing the company’s short- and long-term strategic plans
-   Find important projects, ventures, potential targets and other partnership opportunities
-   Ensure any applicable metrics and performance pointers are in place in order to measure all progress
-   Develop in-depth industry knowledge to support the creation/ideation of new strategic initiatives
-   Prepare, review, and create presentations and white papers with meaningful analytics, trends, competitor reviews and compelling business cases to drive innovative initiatives
-   Lead all aspects of the innovation process for both organic growth and investment initiatives
-   Assess and qualifies potential innovation opportunities, developing thesis, authoring internal presentations, directing internal teams, and drive the process to completion
-   Performs other duties as necessary for the execution of duties and duties as assigned by the Employer

**Position requirements:**

-   Bachelor’s or above degree in business, strategy, finance, marketing or a related academic discipline, with approximately 5+ years of experience in a related field with at least 3 years of leadership experience
-   Must be highly entrepreneurial with a passion for knowledge, a drive for excellence, a solid business savvy, flexibility, and high integrity
-   High ethical and moral standards and transparency of approach due to the rapidly changing, entrepreneurial environment
-   Excellent analytical skills, and consistent attention to detail with the aptitude to comprehend broader market trends
-   Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to work closely with an experienced and dedicated team of professionals
-   The maturity to partner with senior industry operating executives with solid relationship skills and ability to mesh with diverse personalities
-   Demonstrated strategic, analytical and implementation skills
-   Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment
-   Problem-solving skills in order to identify problems, evaluate options and execute solutions
-   Time management skills to manage the timeline of the strategic initiatives
