Why I Chose erxes

I was looking for more than a new job. I was looking for a place where I could learn, contribute, and grow.

When I started looking for my next opportunity, I knew I wanted something different.

I wanted to work at a Mongolian technology company where I could stay close to technology, learn from the people around me, and challenge myself in a fast-moving environment.

At the same time, I wanted to be part of a company with the potential to reach beyond Mongolia.

But technology alone wasn't enough for me.

I was also looking for the right people, the right culture, and an environment where I could continue developing myself.

That search eventually brought me to erxes.

More Than Just a Job

As a software engineering student, technology has always been an important part of the kind of work I want to do.

But when I thought about my next workplace, I realized that I wanted more than just a technical role.

I wanted to work with people I could learn from. I wanted an environment where I could take responsibility, communicate openly, and keep improving.

I was also interested in the startup environment. I like the idea that things can move quickly, that people can take on different responsibilities, and that the work you do can have a visible impact.

Another thing that stood out to me about erxes was its international potential.

I wanted to be part of a Mongolian technology company that thinks beyond the local market and builds something that can reach people around the world.

That combination caught my attention.

The Interview That Didn't Feel Like a Typical Interview

One of the things that stayed with me happened during my interview.

I had the opportunity to speak directly with the CEO, and the conversation immediately felt different from what I had expected.

It was open and direct.

Instead of making everything overly formal or complicated, things were explained clearly. I could ask questions, have an honest conversation, and understand what was expected from me.

That was one of the moments when I started thinking:

“Maybe this is the kind of environment I've been looking for.”

For me, it wasn't only about the position.

It was about how people communicated.

Bringing Engineering Into a Different Role

I joined erxes as a Deployment Manager, and I believe my engineering background played an important role in helping me step into this position.

Coming from an engineering background allows me to understand technical problems more easily when working with different people and teams.

When someone explains an issue, I can look at it from a technical perspective, understand what might be happening behind it, and ask more specific questions.

At the same time, communication is something I enjoy.

So I see my engineering background as more than just a technical skill. It helps me connect technical problems with the people working on them.

I can understand the problem, communicate with the right people, take ownership of a task, and keep learning along the way.

That is a combination I want to develop even further at erxes.

September 15

September 15 was a pretty unusual day for me.

I left my previous job and joined erxes on the very same day.

It was a big transition.

This is also my first real office-based work experience, so there were a lot of new things to take in — new systems, new people, new responsibilities, and a completely different way of working.

But what surprised me was how quickly I started feeling comfortable.

And I think the people around me had a lot to do with that.

My First Days at erxes

During my first days, I started getting familiar with how things work inside erxes.

I was introduced to different parts of the system, learned how work moves between people and teams, and started understanding the responsibilities around me.

Having a senior who could guide me also made a big difference.

But beyond the actual work, I started noticing the smaller things.

The people I sit with.

The conversations happening around me.

Learning when to ask questions and when to focus.

Having lunch together.

Getting used to the rhythm of the office.

Even figuring out the little things — like when people usually eat, what they talk about, and how everyone interacts with each other — helped me feel more comfortable.

Those things might seem small, but they are often what make a workplace feel welcoming.

I didn't feel like I had to force myself to fit in.

I just gradually started becoming part of the environment.

A Culture That Gives People Room to Work

Another thing I really appreciate about erxes is the flexibility in how people work.

If someone can effectively do their work remotely, they don't necessarily have to be in the office simply for the sake of being there.

For me, that shows a level of trust.

The important thing isn't only where you work, but whether you are doing your work, communicating with your team, and moving things forward.

That kind of freedom is something I really value.

It gives people room to take ownership of their work while still being part of a team.

I'm Still at the Beginning

I've only been at erxes for a short time, so I'm still learning.

I'm still discovering the systems, understanding how different teams work together, learning from the people around me, and figuring out where I can contribute the most.

But that is also what makes this experience exciting.

I came here with my engineering background and communication skills.

Now I want to build on those skills, learn more about the product and the business, become better at what I do, and gradually take on more responsibility.

There is still a lot for me to learn.

And I'm looking forward to it.

So, Why Did I Choose erxes?

I chose erxes because I was looking for more than another job.

I wanted to work in technology.

I wanted to experience the startup environment.

I wanted to be part of a Mongolian company with international potential.

I wanted to work with people I could learn from.

And I wanted an environment where I could grow while being trusted to take responsibility for my work.

After joining, I realized that choosing a company isn't only about what you expect before you join.

Sometimes, you only really understand your choice after you become part of it.

For me, that journey started on September 15.

And this is only the beginning.
