Cycles

How to use: View all recurring cycles by opening the Cycles module—this shows currently active cycles, upcoming ones, and completion history. Create a new cycle by clicking "New Cycle" and naming it clearly (e.g., "Weekly Inventory Check" or "Monthly Financial Reconciliation"). Define the cycle frequency by selecting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or creating a custom schedule. Set which day(s) or date(s) the cycle should occur—for example, "Every Monday" or "First day of each month." Add all tasks that must be completed as part of this cycle using the "Add Task" button. Assign tasks to specific team members so everyone knows their responsibilities each cycle. Write clear instructions for each task so there's no confusion when the cycle generates. Set the cycle to automatically create the next instance when the current one is marked complete. Activate the cycle by clicking "Start Cycle"—the system will generate the first instance immediately or on the scheduled date. When a cycle instance appears on your task list, complete each task as you normally would. Mark the entire cycle complete once all tasks are done—this closes the current cycle and triggers the next scheduled instance. Edit cycle templates by clicking "Edit Cycle"—changes apply to future instances, not ones already in progress. Pause a cycle temporarily by clicking "Pause" if the routine is temporarily not needed. View cycle history to see completion rates, time taken, and identify patterns or delays. Use cycles for any routine work: daily reports, weekly team meetings, monthly maintenance, quarterly reviews, or annual audits. Delete cycles that are no longer relevant to your operations
