POS

How to use: Open the POS interface at your sales station or device. Start a new sale by clicking "New Sale" or scanning the first item's barcode. Add products manually by searching for the item name or clicking product categories and selecting items. Adjust quantities using the plus and minus buttons or by typing the number. Apply discounts by clicking "Discount" and entering percentage or dollar amount—you may need manager approval for large discounts. Add customer information to the transaction by searching for existing customers or quickly adding a new customer profile. Review the items in the cart on the right side of the screen before completing the sale. Click "Checkout" or "Pay" when ready to process payment. Select payment method: cash, credit card, debit card, or mobile payment. For card payments, prompt the customer to insert, tap, or swipe their card and follow the payment terminal's prompts. For cash payments, enter the amount received and the system calculates change due. Print or email the receipt by choosing the customer's preference. Process returns by clicking "Return" or "Refund," scanning items being returned, and selecting the original transaction if needed. Issue store credit or refund to original payment method based on your store's policy. Handle split payments by clicking "Split" and processing partial amounts on different payment methods. Place transactions on hold if a customer needs to step away temporarily by clicking "Park Sale." Retrieve parked sales from the holds list when the customer returns. Close out your register at end of shift by clicking "End Shift" and following the cash count procedure. Review daily sales reports to see total revenue, items sold, and payment method breakdown.
