Properties

How to use: Access properties management by selecting "Properties" from the WORKSPACE section in the settings sidebar. Choose which object type you want to customize by clicking on categories in the left panel: Customer, Company, Product & Service, Team member, Inbox, Tickets, or Sales pipelines. Create a new property by clicking "+ Add field" within any property group—opens a form to define your custom field. Enter a clear property name that describes what information will be stored—use names that team members will understand immediately. Select the appropriate data type for your property: text, number, dropdown, checkbox, date, URL, email, phone, or multi-select. Add help text or descriptions that appear below the field to guide users on what information to enter. Configure dropdown or multi-select options by listing all possible choices users can select from. Set whether the property is required or optional—required fields must be filled before saving records. Create property groups to organize related fields together—group contact information separately from business details or preferences. Arrange properties in logical order by dragging them up or down within groups—put most important fields at the top. Control property visibility by setting which user roles can view or edit each field—protect sensitive information. Enable property history tracking to see when values changed and who changed them—useful for auditing and accountability. Set validation rules for data quality—minimum/maximum values for numbers, format requirements for phone or email fields. Create calculated properties that automatically compute based on other field values—useful for metrics or derived data. Make properties searchable so users can filter and find records based on custom field values in list views. Use conditional visibility to show or hide properties based on values in other fields—creates dynamic forms that adapt. Test new properties by creating sample records and verifying data captures, displays, and validates correctly before rolling out to the team.
