Mail Config

How to use: Access email configuration by selecting "Mail Config" from the WORKSPACE section in the settings sidebar. Set the sender email address in the "EMAIL" field—this appears as the "from" address on all system-generated emails. Select your email template style from the "TYPE" dropdown—choose "Simple" for default templates or "Custom" for customized designs. Configure your email service provider in the "DEFAULT EMAIL SERVICE" section—select your provider from the dropdown menu. Enter your email service credentials starting with the access key ID—obtain this from your email provider's dashboard. Provide the secret access key for authentication—keep this confidential and never share publicly. Set your service region—choose the geographic area where your email service is hosted. Enter the configuration set name if your email provider uses this for tracking and analytics. Click "Update" to save all email configuration changes—test email delivery afterward to verify settings work correctly. Ensure your email service account is properly set up and verified before configuring these settings—prevents delivery failures. Test email sending after configuration by triggering a system notification or password reset email. Monitor email delivery rates and bounce reports through your email service provider's dashboard. Update credentials immediately if they're compromised—rotate keys regularly for security best practices. Consider using separate email configurations for different environments—development, testing, and production systems.
