Teams

How to use: Navigate to "Teams" in the OPERATION section of settings to manage your organizational structure. Create a new team by clicking "Add Team" or "Create Team"—name it according to department, function, or location. Write a team description explaining the team's purpose, responsibilities, and scope of work. Add team members by selecting employees from your user list—staff can belong to multiple teams as needed. Assign a team lead or manager by designating someone to oversee the team's activities and performance. Set team permissions controlling what the entire team can access—modules, features, and data visibility. Configure team routing rules for automatic work assignment—tickets, leads, or tasks routed to appropriate teams based on criteria. Create sub-teams or nested teams to reflect hierarchical organizational structure—parent teams with specialized child teams. Set team territories if working with geographic or account-based divisions—define ownership of regions or customer segments. Configure team-specific settings like working hours, holiday calendars, or SLA targets that differ from defaults. Assign team colors for visual identification in calendars, reports, and dashboards—helps quickly spot team assignments. Set team goals and quotas for performance tracking—sales targets, ticket resolution goals, or other KPIs. View team workload distribution to identify overloaded or underutilized staff—balance assignments across team members. Create team communication channels or discussion spaces for internal collaboration and announcements. Set up team schedules showing member availability, shifts, or rotation schedules for coverage planning. Configure team-based reporting to track metrics at team level—compare teams or monitor against goals. Assign shared resources to teams like email addresses, phone numbers, or equipment—clarify team assets. Remove members from teams while keeping them as system users—adjust team composition as roles change. Archive inactive teams to preserve historical structure without cluttering active team lists. Create team templates for quickly setting up new teams with standard structures and permissions. Transfer work between teams by bulk reassigning when responsibilities change organizationally.
