How to use: Access deal settings by navigating to "Deals" in the SALES section of the settings menu. View current deal stages in your sales pipeline showing progression from initial contact to closure. Create new deal stages by clicking "Add Stage"—name each step in your specific sales process. Arrange stage order by dragging and dropping—represent the typical flow of your sales cycle from first to last step. Set stage probabilities indicating likelihood of closing—helps with accurate revenue forecasting at each stage. Configure stage colors for visual distinction—use color progression showing advancement through the pipeline. Define stage requirements or exit criteria—what must happen before deals move to the next stage. Set up automatic actions when deals enter stages—trigger notifications, create tasks, or update fields automatically. Configure deal rotting or aging rules—identify deals stuck too long in stages without progress. Create multiple pipelines for different sales types—separate processes for new business versus renewals or different product lines. Assign pipelines to specific teams who work different sales processes—customized workflows for different selling motions. Set pipeline-specific fields appearing only for certain deal types—customize data capture for different sales scenarios. Configure deal closure reasons for lost deals—standardize tracking of why deals don't close for analysis. Set up required information for deal closure—ensure documentation of outcomes before marking complete. Define deal properties capturing important sales information—budget, decision criteria, competition, timeline. Configure deal value calculation rules—one-time revenue, recurring revenue, or lifetime value calculations. Set up deal forecasting methods—probability-based, weighted pipeline, or custom algorithms. Create deal templates for common sales—pre-filled information and steps for standard transactions. Configure deal assignment rules—distribute new deals among sales reps using round-robin, territory, or manual assignment. Set up deal access permissions—control who can view, edit, or delete deals for data security. Enable deal splitting for team selling—multiple reps share credit and commission on collaborative sales. Define deal activities for logging interactions—calls, meetings, emails automatically associated with deal records. Set minimum deal sizes or qualification thresholds for pipeline entry. Monitor deal aging to identify stalled opportunities requiring attention or different approach.
