Surveys — Create and Manage Customer Feedback Surveys

The Surveys section in Frontline lets you create, send, and track feedback surveys. Surveys help you collect customer opinions, measure satisfaction, and improve your service.

How to open Surveys

  1. In the left sidebar, click Plugins.
  2. Select Frontline.
  3. Click Surveys.

The survey list shows each survey card with:

  • Name: Survey title
  • Question: Main question text
  • Status: Active or inactive
  • Options: Answer choices with vote counts and percentages
  • Total votes, voters, and sends

When you have more than one survey, they will appear side by side in the list.

How to manage surveys through channel settings

Surveys are connected to channels. To manage surveys for a specific channel:

  1. Click Settings in the left sidebar.
  2. Go to Channels under the Frontline section.
  3. Click the channel you want to manage, for example Test Channel.
  4. Scroll down and click Manage channel surveys.

This will open the surveys list for that channel.

How to create a new survey

  1. In the Surveys view, click the + Create survey button at the top right.
  2. The survey builder opens with three steps.

Step 1: General

Fill in the basic survey information:

  • Title: Enter the survey name
  • Brand: Select the brand this survey belongs to

The right side shows a live preview of how the survey will look on desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Click Next step to continue.

Step 2: Content

Add your survey questions and answer options.

  • Steps: Add a title for this step
  • Question: Type the question you want to ask
  • Attachments: Upload an attachment if needed
  • Options: Add answer choices

You can add multiple options for respondents to choose from.

The preview on the right updates automatically as you build your survey.

Click Next step when finished.

Step 3: Confirmation

Set the final survey settings:

  • Duration: Choose how long the survey will be active

Review your survey in the preview panel. The confirmation screen also shows a summary of the steps and questions.

Click Create survey to publish it.

How to read survey results

Once surveys are active and responses come in, the survey cards will display:

  • Votes per option
  • Percentage for each option
  • Total votes, voters, and sends

💡 Tip: Keep your surveys short and clear to get more responses. One main question per survey usually works best.
