What it does
The CMS (Content Management System) is where you create and manage all the content for your website or portal. It includes tools for writing posts, building pages, organizing content with categories and tags, managing navigation menus, adding custom fields and post types, and configuring site-wide settings.
Main elements
- Left sidebar: Content module navigation with CMS selected.
- Content Management menu: Posts, Pages, Categories, Tags, Menus, Custom Fields, Custom Post Types, and Settings.
- Top bar: CMS name ("nino cms"), current section, language switcher (MN / EN), and action buttons such as Add Post.
- Main table: Lists existing records with columns for Name, Status, Categories, Tags, Author, and more.
Creating and Managing Posts
Posts list
The Posts page shows every article or blog post in the CMS. Each row displays the post name, status (published, scheduled, or draft), categories, tags, author, and view count. Use the Filter button to narrow results, and click + Add Post to create a new post.
Add / edit a post
When you open a new post, you see a content editor and a right-side settings panel.
Main fields:
- Post Title — The headline of the post.
- Content — The main text editor where you write the body of the post.
- Language — The language version you are editing (MN or EN).
- Post Type — Choose from available types such as Post.
- Post ID — Generated automatically by the system after saving; used in public URLs.
- Short Description — A brief summary, up to 500 characters.
Metadata and organization:
- SEO — Expand this section to add search-engine-friendly titles and descriptions.
- Category — Assign one or more categories.
- Tag — Assign one or more tags.
- Featured — Toggle to mark the post as featured.
Publishing options
At the top of the editor you can choose how the post is published.
- Publish — Make the post live immediately.
- Draft — Save the post without publishing.
- Scheduled — Set a future date and time for automatic publishing.
- Auto Archive — Optionally set the post to archive automatically.
- Save Draft / Save — Store your work.
When Scheduled is selected, a date picker and time picker appear so you can choose the exact publishing moment.
Posts list after creation
After saving or scheduling, the new post appears in the list with its status. In the example below, "Test123" is shown as scheduled, while "nino's post" is published.
