Custom Fields list

Custom Fields let you add extra data fields to posts, pages, categories, and other content types. The list shows each field group by name and type. Click + Add Group to create a new group.

Add Field Group

When creating a field group, you can:

• Label — Name the group.
• Code — A unique identifier for developers.
• Show On — Select which content types use this group, such as Pages, Categories, or Posts.
• Show on specific pages / categories / posts — Further limit where the group appears.

Click Create to save.

The new group then appears in the Custom Fields list.
