HOW TO SET UP

The Property plugin is available at erxes marketplace for all users when you get started with erxes. It comes with the Form plugin for free as it’s one of the core plugins erxes provides.

⚙️ Self-hosted client, please go to the plugin installation documentation to install the Form plugin after installing the erxes XOS.

‍💻 SaaS clients, when you sign-up for the erxes Property plugin will be there already, so just go along with this guideline to get started with this plugin.

PLUGIN TUTORIAL

The Property plugin can be found in the settings section on the bottom left side of the screen. By selecting the Property tab, you can access the property plugin.

Here you can see that the Erxes platform allows users to register their databases with the following category types:

  • Contact: Customer, Companies, Conversation Detail, Device Properties
  • Cards: Ticket, Task, Deal includes Sales Product & Services

Once you enter the Property plugin, you can see that the customer property already has basic information about customers. You can modify or create new groups and property fields.

By entering contact properties you and your customers can readily and conveniently view the customer/client's information. These properties also apply to the Ticket, Task, Deals section of the Properties page and you can create customized properties for them as well.

Property types to be explained

After creating the group, you will need to add properties to populate the group. When you select the Add Property, you will have a pop-up menu of the Add Property. Within the Form menu, you will see the Type section. Within the Type section you will have the following options:

  1. Input: This is an option for entering simple and short texts
  2. String List
  3. Object list
  4. Text Area: This is an option for entering lengthy texts
  5. Select: This is an option for creating a list with multiple options that you will select one from
  6. Multiple Select: This is an option just like Select but with multiple selections
  7. Checkbox: This is an option for creating a checklist you can select from
  8. Radio Button: This is an option for creating a list with a radio button
  9. File: This is an option created for attachments
  10. Customer: This is an option for selecting customers
  11. Location/MAP
  12. Select product category
