Introducing erxes XOS V2

At erxes Inc., we’ve always strived to be more than a typical open-source software company. Our journey began with bootstrapping our way to survival, offering tailored solutions to meet our clients’ needs. As we grew with our first angel investment, we faced rapid expansion, but lost focus on product quality and market needs, leading to an unstable product that didn’t meet user expectations.

Recognizing the need for change, we dedicated one to two years to refining our product. This hard work has culminated in erxes XOS V2, a robust, reliable solution that addresses user needs and prioritizes quality.

Enhanced User Interface and User Experience

  • Class to Function: Transitioned from class to function components for more efficient and modern code practices.
  • CKEditor to Tiptap Editor: Upgraded our editor from CKEditor to Tiptap for a more customizable and intuitive editing experience.
  • Global Profile Technology: Migrated to Next.js 14, enhancing our global profile technology with improved performance and scalability.
  • Insight 2.0: Introduced Insight 2.0, bringing enhanced features and a refined user interface.
  • SonarCloud Integration: SonarCloud was implemented for continuous code quality analysis and improved development practices.
  • Sentry for Quality Assurance: Incorporated Sentry to monitor and resolve issues, ensuring higher quality and reliability.

  • Onboarding: The onboarding process in erxes XOS v2.0 is improved, offering a full tour of erxes in separate sessions.
  • Global Profile v2.0: Users can create multiple accounts on both SaaS and on-premise versions, easily add new plugins, and extend their limits.

  • Unified Messaging: Manage all messages from one place with social media integration.

Plugin re-arrangement and erxes.io website improvement

We have reorganized all products and services, making it clear to our customers on our new website.

  • Core Plugins: Essential functionalities that form the foundation of the erxes experience.
  • Setting Plugins: Customizable settings to tailor the platform to your specific needs.
  • Erxes Plugins: Developed by us, these plugins enhance the SaaS experience. Your plugins can also be made available to our SaaS customers.
  • Enterprise Plugins: Advanced features designed for larger organizations. These plugins, owned by enterprises, can be sold on-premise with the owner’s permission only.

Separate Sales/Task/Tickets Plugins: These plugins are now independent, allowing them to grow and evolve separately.
